About Heidra

 Heidra is a company based in Dartmoor with energy sustainability using natural water resources as its key focus.  Dr Steve Ritchie, a chartered mechanical engineer, is the founding director, with a wide range of experience in mechanical design both at consultancy and research levels.  Through the application of modern computational design methods and extensive experience of the aeronautical and polymer industry, the company is formulating the most energy and cost efficient design methodology for small high-head hydro systems, with installed capacities in the range of 50-500 kW.
